Tirade Against Sandra Fluke

2/29/12
“What does it say about the college co-ed Susan [sic] Fluke who goes before a congressional committee and essentially says that she must be paid to have sex, what does that make her? It makes her a slut, right? It makes her a prostitute. She wants to be paid to have sex. She’s having so much sex she can’t afford the contraception. She wants you and me and the taxpayers to pay her to have sex.”

3/1/12
“Ms. Fluke, have you ever heard of not having sex? Have you ever heard of not having sex so often?”

“So, Ms. Fluke and the rest of you feminazis, here’s the deal. If we are going to pay for your contraceptives, and thus pay for you to have sex, we want something for it, and I’ll tell you what it is. We want you to post the videos online so we can all watch.”

“Ms Fluke, who bought your condoms in junior high? Who bought your condoms in the sixth grade? Or your contraception. Who bought your contraceptive pills in high school?”

“She’s having so much sex, it’s amazing she can still walk.”

Limbaugh described Fluke as “a woman who is happily presenting herself as an immoral, baseless, no-purpose-to-her life woman. She wants all the sex in the world whenever she wants it, all the time, no consequences. No responsibility for her behavior.”

3/2/12
“Your daughter appears before a congressional committee and says she’s having so much sex she can’t pay for it and wants a new welfare program to pay for it. Would you be proud? I’d be embarrassed; I’d disconnect the phone; I’d go into hiding and hope the media didn’t find me.”

More Misogyny

3/14/12
“You know, I have affectionately referred to the NOW gang as the NAGs, the National Association of Gals, for over 15 years. And the head NOW gang babe was asked what she thinks about that yesterday on television. . . . how can I be anti-woman? I even judged a Miss America pageant.”

10/4/11
“[F]emale politicians get a pass on every aspect of their appearance. You would never have stories about how some female politician is fat like there are stories about [New Jersey Governor Chris] Christie being fat. You wouldn’t have those stories. . . . There are plenty of lard-ass women in politics, and they get a total pass on it.”

2/21/11
Attacking Michelle Obama for reportedly eating ribs while on vacation: “I’m trying to say our first lady does not project the image of women that you might see on the cover of the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue or of a woman [baseball player] Alex Rodriguez might date every six months, or what have you.”

6/17/09
Limbaugh mocks and belittles then-Supreme Court nominee Sonia Sotomayor’s participation in a women’s club – the Belizean Grove – which she recently left as a result of pressure from those opposed to the “discrimination” inherent in a woman-centric group: “I think I’m going to send Sotomayor, and her club, a bunch of vacuum cleaners to help them clean up after their meetings.”

10/16/08
“Undeniable Truth of Life Number 24: Feminism was established so that unattractive women could have easier access to the mainstream. . . . Love Your Body Day. If you’re a feminazi, if you’re a NAG, Love Your Body Day, because nobody else does. That’s what this is all about. They can’t stand that there are still pretty women in the world . . . But this is also about the women’s movement that took away from us all the role of women in life. It’s just all so twisted. So now, Love Your Body Day. Did we need a Love Your Body Day before the feminazis geared up? Love Your Body Day, because nobody else will.”

2/14/08
“[Hillary] Clinton’s testicle lockbox is big enough for the entire Democrat hierarchy, not just some people in the media. … Her lockbox, her testicle lockbox can handle everybody in the Democrat hierarchy. . . . she reminds men of the worst characteristics of women they’ve encountered over their life: totally controlling, not soft and cuddly. Not sympathetic. Not patient. Not understanding. Demanding, domineering, Nurse Ratched kind of thing.”

Racism

1/9/12
“And I think if you look at the way the Obamas live, with Michelle and her separate vacations and not being concerned about how much it costs to take separate airplanes — there’s no question in my mind that they view this as — whatever else they view it as, as an opportunity to live high on the hog without having it cost them a dime. And they justify it by thinking, ‘Well, we deserve this, or we’re owed this because of what’s been done to us and our ancestors all these’ — who knows? I think that’s — I think that’s part of it.

9/27/11
Obama “talks honky around white people.”

11/11/10
Ridiculing Rep. Jim Clyburn (D-S.C.), who is African American: “Clyburn’s worried about not having the perk of a big office? A driver? So, forth. The way this could all be worked out, Clyburn’s new position: Driving Miss Nancy. He gets to keep the car. He gets to go everywhere she goes.”

1/21/09
Talking about Obama on Fox News’ Hannity: “[r]acism in this country is the exclusive province of the left. We’re witnessing racism all this week that led up to the inauguration. We’re being told that we have to hope he succeeds, that we have to bend over, grab the ankles. Bend over forward, backward, whichever, because his father was black, because this is the first black president. We’ve got to accept this.”

2/1/07
Responding to a report about a study that found that a majority of young blacks feel alienated from today’s government: “Why would that be? The government’s been taking care of them their whole lives.”

1/19/07
Regarding professional football players: “The NFL all too often looks like a game between the Bloods and the Crips without any weapons. There, I said it.”

12/8/04
Regarding professional basketball players: “. . . I think it’s time to get rid of this whole National Basketball Association. Call it the TBA, the Thug Basketball Association, and stop calling them teams. Call ‘em gangs.”

Mocking the Poor

6/16/10
Regarding low-income children whose families rely on school lunch programs: “[W]e’re going to start a feature on this program: ‘Where to find food.’ For young demographics, where to find food. Now that school is out, where to find food. . . . the first will be: ‘Try your house.’ It’s a thing called the refrigerator. . . . If that doesn’t work, try a Happy Meal at McDonald’s. You know where McDonald’s is. There’s the Dollar Menu at McDonald’s and if they don’t have Chicken McNuggets, dial 911 and ask for Obama. There’s another place if none of these options work to find food; there’s always the neighborhood dumpster. Now, you might find competition with homeless people there, but there are videos that have been produced to show you how to healthfully dine and how to dumpster dive and survive until school kicks back up in August. Can you imagine the benefit we would provide people?”

2/25/10
To illustrate the need for health care reform, Rep. Louise Slaughter (D-N.Y.) told the story of a woman who wore dentures that had belonged to her late sister. Rush Limbaugh called it the “sob story of the day” and joked, “what’s wrong with using a dead person’s teeth? Aren’t the Democrats big into recycling? . . . So if you don’t have any teeth, so what? What’s applesauce for? Isn’t that why they make applesauce?”

Anti-LGBT

11/5/04
Speaking with a teacher who expressed concern for her gay students: “What’s important when you go to school? Learning how to prepare yourself for the rest of your life or trumpeting your sexuality? . . . how do we know who’s gay and who’s straight unless somebody’s out there making a big case about it? I think — some people are inviting dissent. I think some of the militants in the gay community are actually asking for this fight, because — they want to be confrontational.”

From the 1990s

“I think it is important to discredit [NOW] in a way that will make it difficult for them to prevail again in the arguments we’re having on the issues of the day.”

“A feminazi is a woman to whom the most important thing in life is seeing to it that as many abortions as possible are performed.”

“What if a man claimed the right to rape, using the same principle found in the theory that it is his body and he has the right to choose?”

“Some militant feminists apparently harbor such animosity for the opposite sex that they want to criminalize the process of courtship . . . What was once considered an important part of finding a mate is being mischaracterized as rape.”

“Now I got something for you that’s true–1972, Tufts University, Boston. This is 24 years ago–or 22 years ago. Three year study of 5000 co-eds, and they used a benchmark of a bra size of 34C. They found that the–now wait. It’s true. The larger the bra-size, the smaller the IQ.” According to FAIR, no record of such a study could be found.

Regarding the African-American community: “Why does it have to be heard? They are 12% of the population — who the hell cares?”

“I have a better recipe for black escape from misery than civil rights leadership does. You make black people listen to this show every day.”

“What makes them think they can make civilization in Somalia, when they can’t even accomplish that in South Central Los Angeles.”

On NAFTA: “If we are going to start rewarding no skills and stupid people–I’m serious, let the unskilled jobs, let the kinds of jobs that take absolutely no knowledge whatsoever to do–let stupid and unskilled Mexicans do that work.”

“The Native Americans were meaner to themselves than anybody was ever mean to them. The people were savages. It’s true, they damn well were . . . These people were out destroying timber. They were out these conquering land. Killing each other. Scalping people.”

“The poor in this country are the biggest piglets at the mother pig and her nipples. The poor feed off the largess of this government and they give nothing back. Nothing.”

“The high rate of poverty in the United States is nothing more than a statistical trick, a dirty little liberal secret.”

“We’re reluctant as a society now to teach certain things that are wrong. We think the highest ideal is simply to tech people how to love one another and get along. That may have a nice ring to it but what that means in practice is teaching kids about anal sex and using a textbook called ‘Heather Has Two Mommies.’”

“When a gay person turns his back on you, it is anything but an insult ; it’s an invitation.”

“Today in our increasingly secular world, loving one another doesn’t just mean ‘loving.’ It means being forced to accept as normal those behaviors and lifestyles that are absolutely abnormal.”

Praising Strom Thurmond for calling a gay soldier “not normal”: “He’s not encumbered by being politically correct. . . . If you want to know what America used to be–and a lot of people wish it still were–then you listen to Strom Thurmond.”
