Missouri NOW
Missouri NOW launched a campaign to “Flush Rush” when Republican State House Speaker Steve Tilley announced plans to unveil a statue of Rush Limbaugh in the Missouri capitol building. Rush’s bust would join those of famous Missourians, including Mark Twain, Harry Truman and Walt Disney. Missouri NOW members and other activists sent rolls or sheets of toilet paper with the message Flush Rush to Speaker Tilley. On March 19, Missouri NOW delivered some 500 rolls of toilet paper to Tilley’s office.
